What is a tyre pressure monitoring system and why does it matter after fitting?

TPMS, the tyre pressure monitoring system, triggers the warning light on your dashboard when a tyre drops below its correct pressure. We check and refit the sensor valves during every tyre fitting so the system keeps working. Most clear themselves after a short drive once pressures are set. If a sensor has failed we tell you before replacing it, so nothing lands on the bill unannounced.
