How does a tyre pressure monitoring system work with run flat tyres?

Your tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) alerts you if a tyre has been driven with low pressure or in the event of a puncture. It’s an important tool to ensure your air pressure is safe and that you don’t exceed the recommended distance for premium run flat tyres.
