Mobile Tyre Fitting in Motherwell
A blowout on the A723 or a flat in the Motherwell station car park stops your whole day until the wheel is sorted. We load the tyres, the machine and the balancer into the van and come to wherever the car has ended up.
You get a time in minutes when you call, not a vague promise of soon. Tell us the road or the postcode, and we tell you how long before the van is alongside you.
Stuck Somewhere In Motherwell Right Now?
Roadside on the A721, a work car park at Dalzell, a driveway in Forgewood or Craigneuk, it makes no difference as long as we can get the van beside the car and the wheels off safely. Hazards on, out of the vehicle, and wait somewhere behind a barrier.
Allow roughly 30 to 40 minutes per tyre once we arrive. Wheel off, old tyre off, new one fitted and balanced, torqued to the right figure, and the old tyre taken away.
Real Reviews From Real People
What An Emergency Callout Covers:
- New tyres fitted and balanced at the vehicle, day or night by arrangement
- Puncture checked first, with a repair where the damage allows one
- Locking wheel nut removal where the key is lost or seized
- Spare or space saver swapped so you are on a proper wheel
- Old tyre removed and recycled
- A quick look over the other three while the car is jacked
If the tyre can be saved, we say so and repair it rather than selling you a replacement you did not need.

Know The Price Before The Van Leaves Glasgow
If you can get to a screen, drop your registration into the tyre finder and pick from the sizes that fit, priced up across budget and premium brands. If you are stranded and cannot, ring instead and we work the size out from the registration.
Either way, the price is agreed before we move. No callout, no work, no surprise, until you have said yes to a number.

Enter your registration or size.
Why Drivers in Motherwell Choose Gorbals Tyre Centre
More than a decade of tyre work and 700+ five star reviews, built on a habit of turning down jobs that did not need doing. What makes us different:
- We would rather repair a puncture for around £20 than sell a tyre you do not need yet
- We reach you where you are stuck instead of just taking a booking
- The same named fitters, so you can ask for whoever sorted you last time
- We diagnose the vibration and pulling other garages have already failed to settle
- We keep the readings behind every job, so you know exactly what you paid for

Shake Through The Wheel That A Chain Never Fixed?
A steering wheel that shudders at 50 or 60mph usually means the wheel balancing is out. Customers reach us regularly after paying twice at a national chain for a balance that never settled the shake.
Balancing needs fixed workshop kit, so this happens at Kilbirnie Street rather than at the roadside. We strip and rebalance all four wheels properly rather than doing a partial job, and you feel the difference on the drive home.
Not Urgent? Book A Slot That Works For You
Not every job is a panic. Plenty of Motherwell drivers book us for a set morning at home or a lunchtime at work simply to skip the waiting room. Same van, same equipment, no queue.
Choose the tyres online, pick the slot, and let us know where the car will be parked. We confirm which fitter is heading out so there are no surprises at the door.

Frequently asked questions.
No. We replace what needs replacing and no more. One Lanarkshire driver came to us after being told his tread was down to 30%. We took the wheels off, measured closer to 80%, and sent him away with nothing to buy. The free tyre safety check exists for exactly that reason.
A space saver is built for a short, slow trip to get you off the road, not for normal driving. It is speed limited, usually to 50mph, and grips less in the wet. Get to somewhere safe on it, then leave the car there and let us bring a proper tyre to you rather than pushing the space saver further.
Reviews from Motherwell drivers describe being sorted on a Sunday night, and out of hours emergencies are arranged directly over the phone. Standard workshop hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 to 5:00 and Saturday 9:00 to 2:00. For anything outside that, call and we will tell you honestly what we can do and when.
Just your registration. We look the size up from that. If you want to check yourself, the numbers are on the tyre sidewall and read something like 225/45 R17 91W. Do not crouch beside live traffic to read them, send us a photo of the car and we work it out.
It is, as long as the car is somewhere we can work safely. A hard shoulder on a fast dual carriageway needs the police or a recovery truck to move the car to safety first. A lay-by, side street, retail park or industrial estate is fine. Keep your hazards on and stand well away from traffic while you wait.
Call 0141 429 4583, and you get a number of minutes worked out from where you are and what we have on, not a stock answer. Most Motherwell callouts are reached inside the hour during workshop hours. Out-of-hours emergencies are arranged over the phone, so ring and ask rather than assuming we are closed.
